Ready again for another long journey, after the fantastic Iran, I continue to go east, in the endless “Great Mother Russia“, to seven time zones from Italy in the mysterious and fascinating Siberia. Unfortunately time cannot be bought and the one available is limited, so the idea is to reach Krasnoyarsk and then descend into Kazakhstan to Astana (Nur-Sultan) before returning to Europe. When at school, studying geography we talked about Siberia, I imagined the Cossacks running free on their horses in the cold and boundless steppes, but I would not have suggested a motorcycle trip to places so far away! Well, now everything is (almost) ready for departure, destination Krasnoyarsk and who knows! The Cossacks are waiting for me!
